Question: how do you make friends as an adult?

I'm being serious.  I had so many friends in college, but I graduated and have moved back home and am jobless not working the job I'd like, and I just can't help but wonder how adults make friends.  All my college buddies are at least 3+ hours away, and all my high school buddies have moved out of town ( Read more... )

I have a niece.

She’s two, almost three, and like all American girls in that age group she’s interested in precisely two things: princesses and babies. I am at work.  Also, I am bored out of my mind.

Normally, I'd use this time to write fic.  But the two Glee fics that I'm working on just...don't want to be written.  And I haven't touched Dragon Age fiction since before I left for England, which is sad.

And I can't play video games because I'm at work.
